| marriage | Hayes, Olive S. Fredrickson, Chas. | Hayes - Fredrickson Wednesday, Dec. 3d occurred the wedding of Olive S. Hayes and Chas. Fredrickson, both of Getchell Road in Everett at the home of Mr. Fredrickson's sister Mrs. J. McNair, 180 Ranier, Rev. Pierson, of the English Lutheran Church, officiating. The wedding was solemized in the presence of relatives and friends of the contracting parties after which a bountiful repast was partaken of by the guests, covers were laid for 15. The young couple then departed on a short wedding trip to Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia after which they will make their home in this vicinity having rented a part of the Knudson house in which to start housekeeping. The young people were the recipients of a number of valueable presents. |

| death | Sundborg, John | John Sundborg Found Dead A third death within the last 48 hours as a result of gas was discovered Wednesday morning by R. H. White, of 1527 Wetmore ave., when John Sundborg, of 1531 Wetmore ave. was found in his bed asphyxiated. John Sundborg was alone in his house when death came. Mrs. Sundborg was in Marysville visiting friends A telephone message was sent to her immediately. A son, their only child, is employed by the Gorham Rubber company in Seattle. Tuesday night R.H. White, who owns a shingle mill on the 14th street wharf, where Sundborg was employed, talked with his employee until a late hour in the Sundborg home, next door to White's house. Because the conversation had been friendly and jocular, also for the reason that no suicidal preparations had been made, Coroner Maulsby believes death to have been accidental. Sunborg dressed in night clothes was lying dead in bed when the police called by White, forced their way into the house. The officers carried a pulmotor, but did not attempt to use it, as Sunborg had been dead for hours. At the head of the bed hung a watch, slippers were on the floor nearby, and lying on the bed was a copy of last night's Herald. The police were nearly overpowered by gas when they entered the home. Under an empty kettle a gas burner was found wide open, its flame, possible having been extinguished last night by the kettle boiling over. The room where Sundborg lay dead in bed was directly off the kitchen. There is every reason to regard Sundborg's death as an accident. Although no windows were lowered to admit fresh air to the apartment, it is known sleeping with closed windows was a habit of Mr. Sundborg's. (Everett Herald) 0 Mr. Sundborg was a former resident of Marysville, and has a large number of friends here who deeply regret his death. The funeral services will be hold Sunday at 10:30 am at Maulsby's Undertaking Parlors in Everett. The time has been arranged in order to give his friends here an opportunity to go over on the morning train and return on the 1:30 train. |
